B-BALL ROUNDUP: Lakeside picks up impressive win over Jonesboro-Hodge

Jonesboro-Hodge’s LaDamien Bradford is going to be playing in the SEC next year. But, in Sibley on Tuesday night, Lakeside was able to slow him down enough to pick up a crucial win.

The Warriors picked up a huge home win over Jonesboro in a 50-45 win on Tuesday night.

Branthony Brown held Bradford, a Texas A&M signee, to just ten points on the defensive end and led Lakeside on offense with 13 points.

Austin Sims also had 13 for the Warriors and Lamar McKinsey had eight.

Doyline 82 – Saline 50

Jordan Fuller poured in 19 points for Doyline as the Panthers scored a whopping 70 points through three quarters on Tuesday night.

Decari Markray had 15 points as the Panthers cruised at home. Doyline is #2 in Class-B and improves to 23-2 this season.

“We’re on the verge of playing our best basketball,” Minden head coach Jacob Brown said after the Lady Tiders’ win over BTW. The Tiders improve to 13-10 overall and 5-3 in District 1-4A.

Doyline 56 – Saline 55

Unnika Miller led Doyline with 15 points as the Lady Panthers won a close one at home in Doyline.
