The 4-H livestock show continued on the third night of the Webster Parish Fair with the Beef and Goat Livestock Show on October 3. Participants demonstrated their handling and care skills, with animals judged on their market sale qualities. The showmanship competition highlighted participants’ expertise in presenting both cows and goats.

The evening concluded with the Doug Sale Memorial Award competition, where contestants handled species they had not shown earlier. This year, the Doug Sale Memorial Award award went to Zander Thompson.
Today’s events include the Buyer’s Luncheon followed by the Livestock Auction in the 4-H Show Barn. The fair continues through Saturday, celebrating local agricultural traditions.
