Angel Lee Hennigan, age 61, of Shreveport LA, passed away at her residence on Monday, September 3, 2018 with family at her side.

She was born in Vicksburg, MS to Penny Locke Hennigan and Paul Hennigan of Minden, LA.

She was an estimator for Avallone Architectural Specialties for the last 23 years. She was exceptional as an employee and received many awards for her work.

Angel had a passion for watching movies and playing with her cat Xena, and when football season was here, “The Saints had better win, Who Dat!” She had a direct way of speaking her mind, which everyone loved about her, and touched the lives of many people with her generosity. She was known for her sense of humor, compassion, love of animals, and lived every day to the fullest. She was a gift of joy to everyone who knew her.

Angel thought of dying as the “Circle of Life.” She showed courage and grace till her last breath.

She is survived by her parents, Penny and Paul Hennigan, two sisters and their spouses, Paulette and David McPherson, Jackie and Walt Bayliss and two nieces, Rachel and Kendal Bayliss. She had an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Hennigan Jr., Gerald Hennigan, and Ricky Hennigan.
Any donation can be made to the Humane Society in Angel’s name.

In honor of Angel’s wishes, there will be a private ceremony .
