On September 14, Webster Parish Assessor Denise Edwards hosted a campaign fundraiser at the Venue on Pearl, expressing her gratitude to the supporters who attended and emphasizing the importance of voter turnout for the upcoming October 14 election.
With a crowd of supporters in attendance, Edwards conveyed her appreciation, saying, “We have a great team, and I just appreciate you all so much.”
Earlier this year, Edwards celebrated an impressive milestone, marking her 40th anniversary of service in the assessor’s office. As she seeks to continue her role as Webster Parish Assessor in the upcoming election, her opponent is Sharon Duncan of Cotton Valley.
