Bites & Beats draws crowd for spring evening in Miller Quarters Park

by Amber McDown

Clear skies and mild temperatures set the stage for another successful Bites & Beats on Thursday, April 9, as residents gathered in Miller Quarters Park for an evening of food, music, and community.

As part of the Great American Cookout, Visit Webster Parish officials served free hot dogs to attendees, while Mayor Nick Cox and Police Chief Jared McIver provided water for the crowd.

Live entertainment was provided by Cynthia Sandige, a local favorite who kept attendees engaged throughout the evening with her performance.

Bites & Beats is a free community event held on the second Thursday of each month through the fall, offering residents an opportunity to gather in downtown Minden for music and fellowship.

For more information, residents can visit the Minden Main Street District’s Facebook page.
