It’s times like this that the English language fails us, “I’m sorry” just doesn’t make anyone feel better. “I know how you feel” doesn’t make the loss easier. Sometimes it’s hard to know what to say or do. So I pray for this time to heal your heart.

Psalm 147:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
