The town of Sarepta will be holding their 10th annual Christmas festival Saturday, December 1. The theme of the festival will be “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” There will be live entertainment, activities for children, a car show, a silent auction, chilli cook-off, food vendors and a treasure hunt. Pictures with Santa Claus will be available and there will be fireworks after dark.
This event will benefit several local needs. The festival will begin at 10 am at Sarepta Park on Vines Street off of Highway 2. Vendors and sponsors are welcome. For more information call 318-847-4333.
