City of Minden invites local ministers to discuss community issues

by Amber McDown

The City of Minden is hosting a breakfast for local ministers to address challenges facing the community. The event aims to foster dialogue between city leaders and ministers to develop effective solutions.

The Ministers’ Breakfast will take place on Tuesday, August 13, at 7:30 AM at the Minden Community House, located at 711 Gladney Street. City leaders encourage ministers to attend and share their perspectives and concerns.

“Pastors may hear things that we’re not hearing, so they’re able to bring concerns to us and share information about upcoming events. This is a great opportunity for us to come together and converse,” said Police Chief Jared McIver.

To participate, please RSVP to Ashlee Drake at (318) 377-2144 or [email protected].

By inviting local ministers to this breakfast, the City of Minden hopes to unite different voices in the community, creating a collaborative effort towards a brighter future for the city.
