by Minden Press-Herald

Tuesday night Minden Jr. Civitan club President Ethan Jeffus was asked to speak to the Minden Civitan club. Jeffus spoke about the great success of their ‘Warming Elders Tootsies” project stating the group met the original goal 5 times over. He announced the group’s newest project initiatives including making Valentines day bags for Webster parish CASA foster kids and partnering in hosting the Mar-C Valentines Day party. ‘This is an exciting season of giving … as we are wrapping up great projects we have many more great ones in the making.” Community partners for these upcoming projects include Bl Bank and Citizens National Bank Minden. “Our group is beyond blessed to have such great community partners step up to participate. In all we will be making around 100 Valentines Day bags filled with numerous items. Our group has always felt very passionate about supporting CASA and are overjoyed that we get to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Mar-C employees, gifting them both our Valentines bags.” Jeffus said. The presentation concluded with Minden Civitan Jim Bates presenting Minden Jr. Civitan President Ethan Jeffus with a Jr. Civitan bell.
