Competitors and vendors are setting up in downtown Minden today in preparation for the 2025 Grilling on Main festival, which kicks off Friday and continues through Saturday, June 13–14.
The two-day event will bring barbecue, live music, fireworks, local vendors, and games to the heart of the city. Attendees can sample barbecue from teams for $5 per team and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities.
Friday, June 13:
Little Grillers youth competition: 6 PM
Live music by Flight Delay: 7 PM–9 PM
Cornhole tournament: 7:30 PM
Little Grillers awards: 8 PM
Fireworks: 9 PM
Saturday, June 14:
People’s Choice sampling: 11 AM–2 PM
Grilling on Main Awards ceremony: 5 PM
Downtown road closures began early Friday morning and will remain in effect through the weekend. Visitors are encouraged to follow Minden Main Street on social media for updates and parking information.
