Minden’s Jackson McCormick finished tied for 18th in the Division II state tournament Tuesday.
He shot an 8-over-par 80 in the second round for a two-day total of 12-over 156 at The Wetlands in Lafayette.
Westlake’s Colin Jones was the individual medalist. He shot a second straight 71 and finished at 2 under. Teurlings Catholic’s Dax Reaux (74-69–143) and Holy Cross’ Stephen Faucheaux (71-72–143) finished one stroke back.
St. Louis won the team title with a 288-299-587. St. Thomas More was second with a 300-300–600.
