The Minden LadyvTiders and Glenbrook Lady Apaches won district games Tuesday.
Minden rallied for a 10-9 victory over Caddo Magnet in a District 1-4A game at Minden. Glenbrook routed Plain Dealing 19-0 in a District 1-1A game at Glenbrook.
Elsewhere, Lakeside fell to Winnfield 10-6 in a District 3-2A game at Lakeside.
At Minden, the Lady Tiders trailed 9-7 through six innings then won it on Kaelyn Williams’ three-run home run with one out in the bottom of the seventh.
Sky Savage led off the inning with a double and advanced to third on a passed ball. Roikia Dotie drew a walk. Tatum Miller grounded out to third and Savage was out trying to score.
But Williams ended it with the homer over the center field fence.
Williams went 2-for-4 with five RBI. She also had a double.
Lizzie Balkom went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Audrey Frye went 2-for-4.
Gracie Sparks gave up one hit, struck out two and walked two in 2 1/3 innings of relief.
Minden (7-5, 2-0) continues district play Friday at Southwood. Caddo Magnet dropped to 7-4 and 1-1.
At Glenbrook, Hallie Sutton went 3-for-3 with a triple, double and three RBI in the three-inning game. Gabi Brown went 2-for-2 with a double.
Savannah Mangrum went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Kynzie Smith and Peyton Malone had one double each. Sutton and Brown combined on a no-hitter.
Glenbrook (12-3, 2-0) hosts Caldwell Parish Thursday at 6. Plain Dealing dropped to 8-1 and 1-1.
At Lakeside, the Lady Warriors couldn’t overcome an early 9-1 deficit. Lakeside had nine hits.
Raleah Harris went 3-for-4 with two doubles. Emily Jones went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Bray Lewis went 2-for-4.
Lakeside (11-6, 1-2) visits Minden Thursday. Winnfield improved to 12-6 and 2-0.
