The Webster Parish Courthouse, Minden City Hall, the Webster Parish Library, Webster Parish Council on Aging, Webster Parish Community Services and the Minden Press-Herald will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24-25, in observance of Thanksgiving.
All area banks will be closed Thursday, with some having shortened schedules Friday. Gibsland Bank and Trust will close at 1 p.m. Friday, Citizens National Bank will close at noon Friday and Richland State Bank will be closed Friday.
Regions Bank, Carter Federal Credit Union and Capital One Bank will be open during normal business hours Friday.
The United States post office will be closed Thursday and mail service will resume Friday.
All garbage normally collected Thursday in the City of Minden will be collected Friday and garbage normally collected Friday will be collected Saturday.
Waste Commander will move Thursday’s garbage services to Friday.
