A graveside service will be held for Jack Elbert Morgan Sr. at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Greg Lee officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Jack, 78, was born to Elbert and Bess Morgan in Shreveport. After graduating from high school in Arcadia, he began his pharmaceutical studies at Northeast Louisiana University, Monroe. He received a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and practiced pharmacy until he retired in 2002. He was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Minden.
He is survived by his wife Connie Welch Morgan, children; Jack E. Morgan Jr. and wife Melissa, Samuel Morgan, Denise Reagan, Emily Love and husband G.W. and Riley Griffin, grandchildren; Jack E. Morgan III, Valerie Morgan, Luke Reagan, Levi Reagan, Lyle Reagan and Caleb Love, three sisters, one brother and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Levi Reagan, Lyle Reagan, Johnny Williams, Rickey Daniels, Samuel Weems and Jack E. Morgan III.
The family would like to thank Willis Knighton Pierremont and Riverview Nursing for the care and comfort they have given.
