Lakeside does well at state FBLA competition

A group of six young ladies recently competed with over 100 other schools, at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette, at the annual FBLA State Conference. They competed in contests such as Cyber Security, Emerging Business Issues, Economics, Health Care Administration, Business Communications and Business Calculations.  Alayna Robles placed 10th in the state in Cyber Security.  Those attending were (L to R) Robles, Emily Comeaux, Caitlin McFarland, Jessica Osborn, Lindsey Allen, and Angie Futch.  The group would like to thank Fibrebond Corporation, B1 Bank, and Gibsland Bank for helping to make this trip possible.  Lakeside’s FBLA chapter is under the direction of Mrs. Lesa Ward.
