5 a.m. Designated streets closed and cooks/vendors began setting up along Main Street
10 a.m. Craft and food vendors on Main Street open for business
11 a.m. BBQ tasting tickets go on early sale at the information tent for $5 each
4 p.m. Beer garden at Easley’s courtyard on Pearl Street opens
5 p.m. Deadline for cornhole tournament registration
5:30 p.m. Cornhole tournament begins
6 p.m. Dusty Rose Band plays in the Capital One parking lot
7 p.m. Cooks’ meeting at Orleans on Main
9 p.m. Fireworks display
Saturday, June 9
6 a.m. Geaux Fresh Restaurant, 801 Broadway, will open for coffee and breakfast
10 a.m. Craft and food vendors on Main Street open for business
Kids water slide until 3 p.m.
11 a.m. BBQ tasting begins
Beer garden at Easley’s courtyard on Pearl Street opens
NOON Chicken entries must be turned in
Judging for chicken entries from noon – 1:15 p.m.
12:30 p.m. Dorcheat Bottom Band plays at the stage Pearl Street
1:30 p.m. Rib entries must be turned in
Judging for rib entries from 1:30-2:45 p.m.
3 p.m. Brisket entries must be turned in
Judging for brisket entries from 3-4:15 p.m.
4:30-5 p.m. Winners will be announced at the stage on Pearl Street
