Local students earn awards at piano recital

The students of Mrs. Carolyn Brasell presented their end of the year Recital on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Minden. Appearing on the recital was Rebakah Adams, Alayna Benson, Callie Branch, Motley Brasell, Sarah Brown, Annabel Campbell, Wesley Campbell, Anna Grace Lemmons, Jessica Montgomery, Lyla Scroggs, and Nella Anne Snider. 

The following students participated in the Hymn Festival held at FBC in Minden, and the Federation Festival held at La. Tech. They receive a Superior rating in both events: Rebekah Adams, Alayna Benson, Caroline Bolton, Callie Branch, Motley Brasell, Sarah Brown, Annabel Campbell, Wesley Campbell, Anna Grace Lemmons, Jessica Montgomery, Katie Oglesby, and Nella Anne Snider. 

The following students received a trophy for their commitment to practicing: Rebekah Adams, Alayna Benson, Sarah Brown, Jessica Montgomery and Katie Oglesby. 

Theory Trophies were presented to: Rebekah Adams, Alayna Benson, Caroline Bolton, Sarah Brown, Annabel Campbell, Wesley Campbell, Anna Grace Lemmons, Jessica Montgomery, Lyla Scroggs, and Nella Anne Snider. Alayna Benson was awarded the trophy for OUTSTANDING STUDENT for 2021-22.
