Celebration of Life Services for Mary Louise Frazier Williams will be held Saturday, January 25th at 1:00 P.M. at Fourteenth District Building with Rev. Ricky Alstork officiating.  Interment will follow at the Sheppard St. Cemetery.

Mary Louise Frazier Williams was born on May 7, 1935 to the loving parents of Arthur Fraizer and Rosie Wheatley Frazier Robinson of Claiborne Parish.  She relocated to Minden in 1942 where she accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Calm Baptist Church and later became a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

In 1953, Mary Louise married the love of her life, Robert Lee Williams, Sr.  To this union, seven children were born.  They enjoyed their union of love for twenty-five glorious years.

Mary Louise was a sweet, caring and loving person.  She loved to crochet, sew and fish.  One of her most favorite pastimes was going to garage, rummage and estate sales.

Mary Louise was a fighter through her illness.  On January 15, 2020, she gained her wings.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five sisters: Hazel Robinson, Velma Frazier Jackson, Betty Jean, Edna Aubre, and Marjorie Robinson; two brothers, Benny Frazier and Arthur Frazier, Jr.  

Mary Louise was a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and much more.  She leaves to cherish her precious memories:  four daughters:  Linda Bryant (Bill), Patricia Cook (Artmus), Sherry Williams (Sonny), and Sharon Smith (Rocky); three sons:  Robert Lee Williams (Tasha), Jeffery Williams (Gracie) and Carlos Williams (Kim); seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; three sisters:  Gladys Drew, Mary Helen Robinson, and Inez Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 24th in the chapel of Kennon’s Mortuary from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.   Services are entrusted to Kennon’s Mortuary.  Email condolences may be sent to [email protected]
