Minden High School senior awarded prestigious scholarship

Alec Simpson, a senior at Minden High School, has been awarded the Louisiana Clerks of Court Association Scholarship. The son of Jeremy and Ashley Simpson of Minden, Alec stood out among applicants from across the state, earning this esteemed honor.

Alec’s academic excellence, ranking third in his class, is matched by his remarkable dedication to service and leadership in the community. His passion for biology and aspiration to become a physician’s assistant will lead him to Northwestern State University, where he will pursue his bachelor’s degree.

In addition to his academic achievements, Alec’s involvement in extracurricular activities such as soccer, National Honor Society, Student Council, Boys State, and First Priority highlights his well-rounded excellence.

Alec’s peers recognize him as a role model, known for his humility and selflessness. Whether delivering inspiring devotionals or preaching at church services, Alec’s gift of speech and commitment to serving others leave a lasting impact.
