Four young women from Minden received recognition and scholarships during the Miss Louisiana Teen competition held on April 27 in Monroe.
The contestants participated in private interviews, on-stage questions, fitness, talent, and evening gown categories.
Izzy Gray, who holds the title of Miss Dixie Stock Show Teen and is a senior at Minden High School, received the Community Service Scholarship valued at $500.
Landry Edwards, Miss Minden’s Teen and a freshman at Glenbrook School, was named a top eleven finalist and awarded a $500 scholarship.
Ava Martin, Miss Heart of Pilot’s Teen and a junior at Minden High School, was also selected as a top eleven finalist, earning a $500 scholarship.
Scarlett O’Glee, Miss Belle of the D’Arbonne’s Teen and a sophomore at Glenbrook School, was named first runner-up and awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
All four contestants represented the Minden area at the statewide pageant, showcasing accomplishments in academics, community service, and stage presence.
