Neco was born Sept. 29, 1976 in Clarksville, Arkansas, and passed away Feb. 18, at her home in Longview. She moved to Longview in 2002 and adopted Texas as her home.
Her short life was a hard fought battle for the independence she so valued. Her favorite quote was “God isn’t done with me yet.” She was a trusted friend and listening ear to those who appreciated her insight, wisdom and humor. No matter the circumstances, she faced them all with determination and a beautiful smile.
Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Debbie Edwards of Longview; father, Al Edwards of Minden; paternal grandmother, Dean Edwards of Dubberly. Also surviving her are aunts, Gail Garrett and husband Bo of Sibley, and Donna Thurman of Dubberly; uncles, Ryan Edwards and wife Renee of Dubberly, Wayne Niccum and wife Nancy, Jay Niccum and wife Trish, Larry Niccum and Paul Niccum and wife Cindy all of Cushing, Oklahoma; and many cousins and friends in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Alice Niccum; paternal grandfather, A.J. Edwards Jr. and her cousin Bryan Cole Niccum.
