The Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office has reported that there has been one ATV side by side fatality off of Bistineau Parish road, south of Doyline. There were two occupants on the ATV at the time, a sister, 15, and brother, 12.
“The 12 year old passenger has been declared deceased and the 15 year old female is in critical condition, so we’re praying for her and her family,” said Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker.
“This is a terrible deal for the deputies to be involved in, and especially for the family on Father’s Day.”
The father was reported as being at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing. Currently, it is unknown the reason that the ATV left the roadway into the ditch.
