A 17-year-old Minden woman was charged with several distribution charges following a multi-agency investigation that led to her arrest.

Mallory Brooke Merritt, 17, of the 100 block of Milton Drive, was arrested Aug. 12, and charged with three counts distribution of Schedule II CDS (methamphetamine). Bond was set at $75,000.

Arresting officers were Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies Bobby Igo III, Joel Thomas, Lt. Shawn Baker and Minden narcotics detectives Capts. Marvin Garrett and Dan Weaver.

“Her name popped up several times, and we did an investigation on her, and bought methamphetamine from her,” Baker said. “We had an undercover agent that was familiar with her and sent him in and he made some (undercover) buys from her.”

He says they bought about one gram of methamphetamine from her on three different occasions, worth about $100 each buy.

Merritt was located at her Milton Drive residence, placed under arrest on the three distribution warrants and taken to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center, where she was booked.
