Memorial services celebrating the life of Rita Hicks will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bear Wallace officiating.
Rita was born June 1, 1953 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest November 21, 2019 in Dubberly, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Shockley and brothers, Allen and Charles Shockley.
She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Kirby of Minden, husband, Donald Hicks of Dubberly, son John Hicks of W. Virginia, daughter, Angela Hicks of Dubberly, grandchildren, Seth Hicks, Shaun Hicks, Jacob Hicks (Cheyenne), and Trevor Hicks and great-grandson, Daniel Hicks, a host of nieces. nephews, great nieces and nephews and special nephews Keith Shockley and Blake Shockley.
