Workers direct motorist into the wash area of the newly-constructed RocketFast Car Wash on Homer Road Tuesday. RocketFast gave free car washes Monday and Tuesday and plans to start Wednesday as it’s first official day of business. Managing Partner Don Robertson says the city has been very welcoming and ready to began a new chapter in Minden. Hours of operation are Mon thru Fri: 7:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., Sat: 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sun: 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Robertson says the carwash brought about 10 jobs to Minden.
