Mayor Terry Gardner released this statement about an upcoming scheduled power outage taking place later this week.
“There will be a planned outage Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in the City of Minden. The outage will occur at 10:00 p.m. lasting approximately 3-4 hours. This outage is necessary to move power lines that have become a conflict with the new construction of a building,” said Gardner.
The areas affected will be Robertson Drive, Robertson Drive Extension out to Shreveport Road then westward out Shreveport Road to and including the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development office. Included also, will be Old Shreveport Road and Allen drive.
“We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this time,” said Gardner.
