Scores from Friday’s action in Lakeside tournament

The Minden Lady Tiders advance to the semi-finals after beating Arcadia 57-33 on Friday night in the Lakeside tournament.

Derrica Gilbert and Destini Powell each had 16 points to lead the Lady Tiders.

Minden led the whole game, starting with a 17-5 run to begin the game.

The Lady Tiders will take on Haynesville on Saturday. Haynesville beat Homer 41-40 earlier Friday afternoon.

Gibsland-Coleman beat Evangel 42-25 in the other girls game on Friday.

In the boys bracket, Ringgold beat Lakeside 71-66. Lakeside was led by Austin Sims’ 19 points, but it wasn’t enough to get past the Redskins.

Doyline beat Minden 53-47, and Gibsland-Coleman defeated Homer 66-35.
