Cleodis Bell Jr., 68, of the 1200 block of Bayou Avenue, was arrested Friday for one count each of molestation of a juvenile, indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Shreveport authorities say the alleged crimes took place over more than a year’s time and are concerned there could potentially be more victims. He was arrested by detectives as part of an ongoing investigation that began in June.
Bell is accused of sexual misconduct by asking the juvenile for sexual favors and inappropriately touching her. He is also suspected of initiating contact with the juvenile through electronic communication asking her to engage in sexual acts with him.
