Today, November 8, is election day. The polls will be open until 8 p.m. tonight.
Be sure to bring your picture ID. According to the Secretary of State’s website, “This can include a Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana Special ID card, LA Wallet digital driver’s license, a United States military identification card that contains the applicant’s name and picture, or other generally recognized picture identification card with your name and signature. If you do not have a picture ID, you will be required to complete a voter affidavit.”
