Michael and Chequella Walker hosted a breakfast for the Minden High School Freshman Class of 2028 in Academy Park to celebrate this new step in the students’ lives. The Walkers as well as the students’ parents and grandparents came together to create this special event, aimed to start the school year on a positive note.
“Small steps towards big dreams started today for these incoming freshmen, and we were elated to be a part of this momentous occasion,” the Walkers said. They expressed gratitude to everyone who participated and wished the students a successful year.
The Walkers closed with a spirited “Roll Tide Roll,” encouraging the freshmen as they embark on their high school journey.
