The Webster Parish Fair closed Saturday, October 4, after a week of parades, livestock shows, rides and community events that drew large crowds to the Minden Fairgrounds.
Fair organizers said attendance was strong throughout the week, with families turning out for the return of traditional events such as Senior Citizens Day, 4-H livestock competitions and nightly midway attractions.
Saturday’s schedule included Kids Day and a pizza eating contest sponsored by Johnny’s Pizza House. A full lineup of young competitors took part, with Isaiah Bailey placing first, Nolan Emmons second and Camdyn McCroan third.

The annual fair is presented by the Webster Parish Fair Board with support from local volunteers, sponsors and 4-H members.
