LEAP Testing for J.L. Jones 3rd graders started Monday, and students will test every day this week. A motivational meeting was planned to get the kids awake and motivated to do their best. Devin White, number 5 pick in the first round of the NFL Draft, and Joseph Evans, who is a senior at Haynesville High school and will be playing for LSU next year, came and spoke briefly to the 3rd grade students to express to them that their education is important and to always work hard in school.
