A fight over missing medication led to a couple’s arrest.

Minden Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Braeburn Glen in reference to a disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Capt. Julie Harmon said the fight turned physical when they began to argue over the missing pills.

“He woke up and was angry that his Xanax pills went missing,” she said. “He also threatened the officers by telling them they were going to lose their jobs, which is a felony.”

Dakota Keith, 20, of the 200 block of Braeburn Glen, was arrested for disturbing the peace by fighting and public intimidation. His girlfriend, Cassie Cumpton, 24, of the same address was arrested for disturbing the peace by fighting.

They were transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
