A flag lowering ceremony will take place at Veteran’s Park, located at Turner’s Pond, Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
The American Legion Color Guard of Post #74 will conduct the flag ceremony at 9 a.m.
After a program and prayer for departed veterans, the American flag will be lowered to half-mast in honor of those who have gone before us and for the sacrifices they made for Americans, Vice Commander Jerry Madden said.
The program is open to anyone who wishes to honor the fallen heroes.
