A familiar face will bring vast business experience to Citizens National Bank.

Sarah Haynes has been named Branch Banking Officer and Branch Executive at the Homer Road location.

“Haynes will be important in the growth of Citizens in the Minden, Homer, Haynesville area,” Jason Smith, president and CEO said. “Sarah is well known in the Minden area for her work in building community relations for Minden Medical Center. Her enthusiasm and knowledge will be a genuine asset to Citizens National Bank.”

Sarah received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from University of Louisiana Monroe in 1983 and began a banking career with Webster Bank & Trust Co. and later Hibernia. Since 1986, Haynes has worked as the Director of Physician Relations and Industry for
Minden Medical Center. She is also very involved in community affairs.

Haynes was chosen 2013 Woman of the Year and currently serves as a board member and secretary of the Webster Claiborne Alumni Association, the Krewe des Ambassadeurs, and as chairwoman of the Minden Planning Commission.

“I am excited to join a great team of experienced, committed and caring bankers and being a part of a bank that places importance on things that really matter to the communities we serve,” Haynes said. “I want to invite all my friends in the Minden area to come visit and experience the way banking was meant to be.”

Citizens National Bank, N.A. was founded in 1985 and offers a variety of services to individuals and businesses with offices in Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto and Webster parishes.
