The Minden Walmart partnered with the Minden Fire Department and Minden Police Department on Friday, June 12, for a fundraising event benefiting Children’s Miracle Network, bringing together first responders, community members, and local families for a day of giving.
The event featured hot dogs and lemonade served by Walmart, while the Minden Fire Department provided tours of a fire truck for children and families. The Minden Police Department also participated, bringing K-9 units Tigo and Bram for a meet-and-greet with attendees.
Minden Fire Chief Brian Williams and Minden Police Chief Jared McIver were both on hand to support the fundraiser and interact with community members throughout the event.

The fundraiser was part of Walmart’s ongoing support of Children’s Miracle Network, which raises funds to help provide medical care, equipment, and services for children in need.
In a statement shared during the event, Walmart emphasized the impact of community support: “A small act of generosity can make a big difference in a child’s life. Together, we’re helping create miracles one donation at a time.”
Families attending the event had the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, learn more about local public safety agencies, and contribute to a cause that supports local children and their families.
The event highlighted the partnership between local businesses and public safety agencies as they worked together to raise awareness and funds for Children’s Miracle Network.
