A large crowd gathered Thursday evening, August 13, at Miller Quarters Park for another well-attended Bites & Beats, enjoying live music, dancing, food, and fellowship.
John Gill Jr. and DJ Jazzy Jeff kept the crowd moving throughout the evening, taking special song requests and performing a mix of music that had many attendees dancing along.
The Minden Fire Department brought a truck and set up a water zone to help attendees cool off, particularly children enjoying the summer evening.
Bites & Beats takes place on the second Thursday of each month through the fall. The event is hosted at Miller Quarters Park by the Minden Main Street District and offers residents a free opportunity to enjoy live music, food, and family-friendly activities in downtown Minden.
