Nelson

Aynsley Nelson went to be with her heavenly Father Thursday afternoon, August 11, after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

She always had a smile on her face and never complained. She was a beautiful, Godly woman who was at peace with everything.

She inspired and taught us no matter what hardships come your way, there is always something to be grateful for.

We will miss you Aynsley, but we take comfort knowing that you are whole, healed and in the arms of our heavenly father.

Aynsley is preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd M. “Pete” Pevy and Christine Kemp Pevy of Sibley, Jack Sims Sr. of DeBerry, Texas and Calvin Gray of Shreveport.

Aynsley is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Donnie Nelson of Forney, Texas, daughter, Alyssa Nelson of Forney, mother, Deborah Sims of Bossier City, father, Jackie L. Sims Jr. of DeBerry, siblings, Chad L. Sims of Marshall, Texas and wife Jana, Jennifer Haven of Terrell, Texas, and husband Robert, Brandi Poole of Forney, grandparents, Imogene Pevy of Bossier City, mother and father in law Ken and Jan Nelson, grandmother Florence Sims of DeBerry, grandmother Janet Gray and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles that she loved dearly.

Visitation for Aynsley will be on Wednesday Aug. 17, 2016 from 10 a.m. until noon at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas.

We will be celebrating Aynsley’s life on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Free Life Church Forney officiating Pastor Stephen Hayes of Covenant Church with interment to follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens in Sunnyvale.
