Graveside services for Mercedes Fox will be held Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Marriott.
Mercedes was born October 28, 1928 in Maringouin, Louisiana and entered into rest in Minden, Louisiana. She was owner of Burt’s Young Fashions in Minden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrie Fox; sister, Patsy Scardino, and grandchildren, Kyle Sherrill and Lacy Marie Clark.
She is survived by her daughters, Monica Clark and husband Robert of Minden and Terri Wiggins of Pineville; grandchildren, Dr. Keali Michelle Waldron and husband John, Carroll Alan “Pete” Sherrill, Jr. and wife Frankie, Matthew Scott Sherrill and Ashley Elizabeth Sherrill; great-grandchildren, Tristin Thomas Waldron and wife Sydney, Ty Trenton Waldron, Braylon Sherrill, Myles Sherrill, London Lewis, Piper Sherrill, Aubree Sherrill, and Izayah Lewis, and great great-grandchild, Copeland Thomas Waldron.
Pallbearers will be son-in-law, Robert Clark; grandchildren, Pete and Matthew Sherrill and great-grandchildren Tristin and Ty Waldron.
