Funeral services for Martha Yocom Durrett were held Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at City On A Hill Pentecostal Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Jimbo Yocom and Rev. Keith Adcock officiating. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Martha was born September 22, 1928 in Camden, Arkansas and entered into rest March 5, 2021 in Minden, Louisiana with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.E. and Gladys Yocom; husband, Louis D. Durrett; son, Billy Dean Durrett; brothers, Clarence and Thomas Yocom, and her little buddy, Zoe.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Durrett Tarver and husband Garland; nephew, Jimmy Yocom; grandchildren, Brandi Bailes and Dusty Durrett, great-grandchildren, Britton, Nate, Sage, and Wynter Bailes, and numerous relatives and friends.
The family extends thanks to special friend and family caregiver, Becky Holliday and other caregivers, Debbie Hudson, Jean Smith, Renee Cross, and Mary Cummings.
