Pair robbed Barksdale
Federal Credit Union Monday
COTTON VALLEY — The Cotton Valley Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance on identifying two people that robbed a credit union Monday.
Around 2 p.m. Monday, two people entered the Barksdale Federal Credit Union at the corner of Hwy. 371 and Resident Street in Cotton Valley.
The two, a male and female, were dressed in all black, wearing masks and brandishing handguns, according to law enforcement sources.
Following the robbery, the two fled on foot and ran toward Hwy. 160, Cotton Valley Police Chief Terry Brown sad.
No further description of the robbers has been released and no injuries were reported.
Brown said a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the pair.
The Cotton Valley Police and Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating the robbery.
