A Doyline woman was arrested after allegedly causing a disturbance inside Minden City Court, according to a report from the Ward Marshal’s Office.
Cassie Guillory, 39, was taken into custody after authorities responded to a disturbance in the courtroom.
According to the report, Guillory fell over three rows of courtroom chairs. When an officer made contact with her, the officer reported detecting a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath.
After leaving the courtroom, Guillory reportedly told the officer she had consumed “a little” alcohol before laughing. The report states she then became loud and began using profane language.
Officers advised Guillory of her Miranda rights before placing her under arrest.
Guillory was charged with disturbing the peace.
According to bond instructions issued by Judge Chris Sentell, Guillory’s bond was set at $1,000 on the day of her arrest and would be reduced to $500 if posted the following day or Friday.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
