The Northwest Louisiana Veterans’ Cemetery Foundation invites all veterans, family members, and interested parties to participate in the upcoming holiday wreath placement ceremony for the holiday season to honor those who served.
Holiday wreaths will be placed on each gravesite on Friday, December 8, 2023. At 12:30 p.m., there will be a brief ceremony and prayer to recognize those who sponsored wreaths for family members or to honor others’ service. The placement of wreaths starts at 1 p.m. All attendees can distribute the wreaths throughout the cemetery. All veterans, family members, and interested parties are invited to attend.
Volunteers will be needed to pick up the wreaths after the holidays on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 1 p.m.
Also, wreath sponsorships are still being taken. Your donation to the Northwest Louisiana Veterans’ Cemetery Foundation to sponsor a wreath can be made online at https://nwlvcfoundation.org/ .
