Minden High splits with Woodlawn

School honors former players Derrick Parker and Greg Shyne

The Minden High basketball teams split a pair of district games with Woodlawn on Derrick Parker/Greg Shyne Night at the Palace.

The Tide won a thrilling game, 61-60, and the Lady Tiders lost a close one, 58-52.

"I was very proud of the kids last night," Crimson Tide head coach Alan Shaw said. "They fought and fought and never gave up, even when we got behind. I was very proud of the way they finished the game."
